Last week I got new window shades, something I really needed. This little student room I live in is on the second floor, but people can still look into my massive windows with ease when I had my curtains opened. So I told my parents I wanted to buy shades, but even before they found something I found something myself. A pair of nice bamboo shades that fitted the two windows perfectly (one large window, and one openalbe window right next to it). And I must say the look very charming, especially in combination with the healthy and lovely papyrus plant I own

Talking of Bamboo, my good friend ~sonnypup leant me his Wacom Bamboo tablet, and I love it so far! My old trusty Volito 2 has a very worn pen nib, since I've bene using it on almost daily basis for 5 years.. about the amount of time I've sat around deviantart. Yeah (and earlier Elfwood, lol).

Next week I'm meeting up with a friend I havn't seen in a while, the great *Seiryuu-Kami, I'm quite looking forward to it!

In other news, this year's new year is going to be absolutely great. My lovely *Morgoth883 and ~Crazy-Painter are coming down to my place again (cold rainy Holland, but still, not much of a change for them, being Brits). I'm sure we're going to have a good time, I'm really counting down towards the Christmas holiday.

College is going ok too. We only just got our new assignments and they do demand a lot of attention, but hey, I do like it! Sometimes doing homework might be boring, but at least never as boring as it used to be in Highschool. Hahaha, I smell victory.
